A HARD ACT TO FOLLOW

About 25 Montrose Search and Rescue Team hopefuls are going through the application process to serve on the volunteer team, but it's not likely the number of volunteers will double to 50, spokesman Mike Leum said

"We'd be happy to end up with three people out of those," he said. "Past activities come back to haunt people."
