Grant money goes to sheriffs, students

LA CRESCENTA -- Six organizations have been selected to receive grant money from the Mary Pinola/Crescenta Valley Chamber Educational Endowment Fund.

Receving $300 each will be the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station, Montrose Search and Rescue Team, robotics programs at Crescenta Valley and Clark Magnet High Schools, Prom Plus and Glendale Healthy Kids.

The organizations will receive the grants at the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce Installation luncheon Jan. 15.
